FIGHTING IN THE PRESENCE OF THE
LORD
Gideon's outstanding characteristic was that he fought the battle in the
presence of God (Judg. 6:12, 16). He not only lived, walked, and worked in the presence of
the Lord, but fought with the presence of the Lord. We all must be like this. In one sense
our daily walk is a walk, in another sense it is a work, and in still another sense it is
a warfare. Whether we walk, work, or fight, we must be in the presence of the Lord. To be
in the presence of the Lord simply means to have the enjoyment of the Lord as the tree of
life. Gideon enjoyed God as the tree of life.

주의 임재 안에서 싸움
기드온의 현저한 특징은 그가 하나님의 임재 안에서 전쟁을 했다는 것이다(삿 6:12, 16). 그는 주의 임재 안에서 살고, 행하고, 일했을 뿐 아니라 주의 임재로 싸웠다. 우리 모두는 이와 같아야 한다. 우리의 일상생활은 한면으로는 행함이고, 다른 면으로는 일하는 것이고, 또 다른 면으로는 전쟁이다. 행하든지 일하든지 싸우든지 우리는 주의 임재 안에 있어야 한다. 주의 임재 안에 있는 것은 다만 생명나무이신 주님을 누린다는 뜻이다. 기드온은 생명 나무이신 하나님을 누렸다
