Two Kinds of Sins

Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression. - Psalm 19:13

Our sins toward God are of two kinds: one is rebellion and the other is presumption. When God tells you to do something, and contrary to His wishes, you do not obey but do what He does not want, that is a sin of rebellion. We all know that this is a sin and are willing to make an effort to terminate it. None of us want to commit this sin. But, brothers and sisters, please remember that the Bible not only tells us that rebellion is a sin, but that presumption and rashness are also sins. 두가지 죄

또 주의 종으로 주제넘은 짓을 하지 말게 하사 그 죄가 나를 주장치 못하게 하소서 그리하시면 내가 정직하여 큰 죄과에서 벗어나겠나이다

이것은 하나님의 종이 하나님 앞에서 두 가지 죄를 지을 수 있음을 말해준다. 하나는 불순종의 죄요, 하나는 주제넘은 짓을 하는 죄이다. 하나님께서 행하라 하신 것을 행치 않을 때, 그것은 불순종의 죄이다. 이러한 죄는 우리가 범하기를 원치 않는 다. 그러나 형제 자매여, 우리가 기억해야 할 것은 불순종의 죄가 있을 뿐만 아니라 주제넘은 짓을 하는 죄가 있다는 것이다. 주제넘은 죄란 하나님께서 우리에게 분부하시지 않은 것을 행하는 것이다. 불순종은 하나님의 명령에 따라 행하지 않음이요, 주제넘은 것은 하나님이 명령하시지 않은 것을 행하는 것이다. 하나님 밖에서 행동하는 것이 바로 주제넘은 것이다.
