The Lord came from heaven. He did not trust in His perfect flesh, but trusted in the Holy Spirit. How much more should we do the same! The way that He insisted on walking according to God's will and by the power of the Holy Spirit shows us that being sinless alone is not enough. Our life must not be one that merely overcomes sin· it must also overcome the flesh. It must not only overcome filthiness but must overcome the natural being. God's life has been too suppressed by our natural being. Our life and work have been too controlled by our own will and too motivated by our own wisdom. We have tried to serve God by our own strength too much. God's calling today is that we see the futility of everything that comes from the natural realm so that we will humble and empty ourselves before God, obey and trust in Him entirely.

두번째의 원칙

주님은 하늘에서 오셨음에도 불구하고 그 분의 완전한 육체를 의지하지 않고 성령을 의지하셨는데, 우리는 마땅히 어떠해야 하겠는가? 그분이 어떠하든지 하나님의 뜻을 따르고 성령의 능력을 의지한 것은 우리에게 죄만 없다고 되는 것이 아님을 보여준다. 우리의 생활은 죄악적인 것을 이겨야 할 뿐 아니라 또한 혈육에 속한 것을 이겨야 하며, 더러운 것을 이겨야 할 뿐 아니라 천연적인 것도 이겨야 한다. 하나님의 생명은 우리 안에서 너무나 우리의 천연적인 것에 의해 눌림을 받는다. 우리의 생활과 일은 너무 자신의 뜻을 따라서 행하고, 너무 자신의 지혜를 의지하여 활동하며, 너무 자신의 능력을 통하여 하나님을 섬긴다. 오늘날 하나님의 부르심은. 우리가 전적으로 그분 앞에서 천연적인 것에서 나온 모든 것이 얼마나 쓸모 없는가를 보고, 하나님 앞에서 겸손히 자신을 비우며, 하나님께 완전히 순복하고 의지하는 사람이 되는 것이다.
